CPEU Course Description
Food allergen labeling is an important tool to reduce the risk of exposure and prevent anaphylaxis for individuals with food allergies, however, precautionary allergen labeling has resulted in consumer confusion. This CPEU course appraises if consumers would use interpretive labels with or without medical advice that was advocated by the food industry rather than the normal precautionary allergen labeling.
